After almost 2 years in the Dominican Republic (a fantastic experience!), 2 years in East Texas and 2 months in Toronto, Canada, we have been in Houston for the past 8 months. Yeeaah, we are past the “2s”, ha!
WHAT’S BEEN HAPPENING?
A LOT! After 2 years in East Texas and long and desperate prayer for direction, the Lord showed us to go to Toronto, Canada. WOW!!! We were really excited because Toronto has 109 ethnic groups and languages. All the mission fields rolled into one city! We can go there, settle down and be there ‘til Jesus comes back! Or so we thought!
It was very interesting and we did learn a lot and met lots of new people but after 2 months we saw that this was not the field the Lord wanted us in. In fact, He told us He had taken us there to show us where it “ain’t”. He showed us to go back to Texas and specifically, Houston.
Here in Houston we have been working with a project of young people ages 18 – 30 years old. They are all musicians and use their music to reach other young people. We have a big converted bus called the Prophet Bus which we use to do concerts and outreach. Our recent venture was Spring Break in South Padre Island. The band, as well as Kelsey (our 17 yr. old), Victoria (our 16 yr. old) and Dante (our 14 yr. old) all packed up the bus and headed to South Padre Island for 5 days of outreach to thousands of college students with the message of Jesus. This trip was one of the high-lights of their lives as they sang and talked to thousands of students from, not just Texas, but all over the world. They had many deep conversations as many students have been searching for answers in these unsettling times.

KELSEY – will be 18 years old in May and has enrolled in a missionary training course in which she will learn more in-depth study on theology and evangelization. She is also studying photography and film editing.
VICTORIA- is 16 years old and doing well in her high school studies. She is starting a pre-teacher’s training course as she wants to be a tutor/teacher for elementary grades. She is also enrolled at Kass Art School and is learning different art mediums.

DANTE - will be 15 years old in May and is also doing well in high school. He is learning computer programs including Adobe Photoshop and web design as well as Hollywood Camera and is learning how to do filming. He is also taking music lessons to learn to play the Bagpipes and is progressing well.
WHAT’S NEXT?
-Our next Prophet Bus trip is in June to the “Rainbow Gathering”
-Weekly trips to Houston Universities to reach out to students.
-We just started weekly fellowships for friends and acquaintances and hope this will grow. We had about 20 people attend.
-All the 18 yr. – 30 yr. olds on our project are enrolled in the Professional Missionary Academy, an online missionary training course.

Dante’s music classes are $20 a week or $80 a month. He has had a sponsor for the past 4 months, but this sponsor is unable to continue helping. Is there anyone who would like to help by sponsoring his music classes? He practices every day and his music teacher says he is doing well and should be able to move up from the Chanter to the Bagpipes in 6 more months.
#2 Set of Bagpipes
A basic set of good Bagpipes is $1000 - $1200. In 6 months he will need a set of Bagpipes to be able to continue. Is there anyone who would be able to help towards this?
